My photography studio is based in Old Oscott near Great Barr, and I welcome families from across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.

I specialise in capturing your baby’s first precious days with care and artistry. Newborn sessions are calm, baby-led and never rushed, allowing plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles.
Your baby’s comfort always comes first, and each session is gently guided and tailored to your family. Siblings are very welcome to join in, making this a special opportunity to capture your baby’s first professional portraits and create meaningful family images together.

Portrait and milestone baby photography
Portrait sessions are ideal from around six months, when babies can sit confidently but aren’t yet walking. This stage is perfect for capturing expressions, curiosity and growing personality.
These relaxed sessions focus on natural baby portraits, with the option to include family photographs too. They’re a lovely way to document your child’s milestones and update your family photographs as they grow.
Cake smash photography
Cake smash sessions are a fun, relaxed way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday. Sessions usually begin with a short family portrait, followed by plenty of time for messy fun.
The session finishes with a playful bath, giving even more opportunity to capture joyful, personality-filled images. These sessions are energetic, memorable and perfect for marking a very special milestone.
What to expect from your photography session
Your session is designed to feel calm, relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish. There’s no rushing and no pressure – everything is guided gently and at your baby’s pace.
Sessions take place in my warm, cosy studio, with plenty of time for feeding, settling and cuddles. I’ll guide you through the session and posing naturally, so you don’t need to worry about what to do or how to prepare.

Frequently asked questions
Newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy, ideally in your second or third trimester. This helps secure availability around your due date. Sessions usually take place within the first 5–14 days after birth.
What if my baby won’t settle?
That’s completely normal. Sessions are baby-led and never rushed, with plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and soothing. I work patiently and gently to ensure your baby stays comfortable throughout.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Yes, absolutely. Parents and siblings are very welcome to be part of the session, especially during newborn and milestone sessions.
Where is your photography studio based?
My studio is based in Old Oscott near Great Barr, with easy access for families travelling from Birmingham and the surrounding West Midlands.
What should we wear for our session?
I recommend neutral, simple clothing in soft tones, avoiding logos or busy patterns. I’m always happy to offer guidance before your session if you’re unsure.
